So, since Weegee had his surgery (neuter, teeth cleaning, and removal of one eyelash inside of the eyelid) and was on antibiotics, he hardly has any tear stains. I am very happy about this, but it does look like it is already coming back.
My question is about an odor that is coming from his tears. Before his surgery, he never smelled like anything. Now his face, from his tears, smells like DOG. Kind of like dog drool, but just the odor that you think of when you think of how a really smelly dog smells. It is definitely from his tears because 1) I have smelled his breath and it is fine and 2) the odor is under his eyes and down his cheeks.
I am just wondering what is causing this and what I can do about it? Has anybody had this issue? I have been washing his face but it still stinks.
