This came from a Poodle message group I belong to.

"A VET in upstate NY looking for a stud dog with a good temperament to
breed to his cream color Labradoodle. His name is Ian Michaels in case
anyone else hears from him.

He was told that it was against the code of ethics of the Poodle Club of
America, and all my local clubs.

Also told him that as a vet I was sure he was aware that there was no
guarantee that doodles were going to be any healthier than the pure
breeds as they carried the same genes for various diseases and wished
him luck in his search.

A breeder's worst nightmare has always been finding one of our dogs in a
puppy mill pedigree but now you can add doodles to that as well."
