I have been slow cooking my black eyed peas for a whole day! I just fried up some cabbage, and my husband is making sweet potato casserole, cornbread, and country fried steak with gravy. YUMMY!

I read that and thought "Hmmm must be from the south" Checked and yep TN! LOL!! I have never had black eyed peas and I have never heard of them as a traditional new years food. Boy I'm out of the loop! Learn something new everyday!
