I have been slow cooking my black eyed peas for a whole day! I just fried up some cabbage, and my husband is making sweet potato casserole, cornbread, and country fried steak with gravy. YUMMY!

Happy new year everyone!

I have never done the traditional New Year stuff. I do like black eyed peas kind of like Michelle said. I heard it called Texas Caviar. Black eyed peas with red onion, chopped bell peppers, diced tomatoes, cilantro, little bit of vinegar, salt & pepper. Yum.
