Well, not really mad, but more ”if you are going to do something naughty, you could have picked a better time.’😩. That was our morning today. Me needing to get something done. Simcoe deciding it was the perfect morning to roll around in something really stinky and gross that he found in our yard. His look in the shower stall says it all. Then a blow dry and all better.
Can anyone relate with a story of their own?

Poor Simon. He worked really hard on that cologne and you washed it away 😢

Lu is a darling but he did slid off the back of the couch the other day onto my head while I was watching a very scary movie in the dark. I screamed, he jumped, and I ended up with some scratches on my shoulder from his scramble. He got a peanut butter lick mat and I turned on a lamp after that haha

Oooohhhh….I love naughty dog stories! 😁😂

I made a delicious hot pasta dish tonight. I needed one more ingredient and quickly went downstairs to our pantry. Just when I got there I realized I forgot to push the bowl far enough away so Bobby wouldn’t steal some. Yes…Bobby is a smart and dedicated counter surfer and I definitely know better. I just got sidetracked and forgot. After realizing my mistake I quickly ran up the stairs and there, of course, was Bobby helping himself.
He didn’t eat much of it yet as I realized my mistake quickly. And yes, we ate the pasta dish although I did scoop some off the top before we ate it. 😉 Wasn’t that pasta good, Bobby?😂

Aoife came out of the bathroom with a wad of cash in her mouth the other day! Casey likes to empty my pants pockets if I leave them on the floor, but doesn't damage most things (including cash) that he finds, so I'm not as careful as I should be. Aoife will not empty my pockets herself. BUT... If Casey pulls the cash out, then Aoife will apparently take off with it! She had it under one paw and was about to rip up on it when I caught her, but no harm done. I will now be more careful with things that might be an issue with the double -trouble team!

I wish Dewy would find money. I could then use that to buy tools finders keepers. Unfortunately he finds tools🙁.

My tools my paint brushes are still missing😐🐩. That was until I said you want me to comb your hair? You want me to brush you out boy? Well at least he's got the concept of a brush. 🤨 That's what he brought me🤯.

He picks good quality too this is an ox hair brush🧐. I just wish I'd known all I had to do was say brush and he would have brought it. I think he's been brushing himself with it. In a fit of range of jealousy after seeing me brush the house so much🫨🐩.

Looking back on it all now. I feel like I was manipulated into a brushing him by him.🐩 😲. Oh well I guess it does pay to have opposing thumbs 🤷‍♂️.

I used to tell contractors who came to work on things in the house that if they were missing anything when they left my dog probably took it......I don't have to anymore because Bravo wouldn't think of stealing.

Our JRT was a first-class thief. Repair guys would insist that the 'cute' dog be allowed to stay out while they worked despite my warnings. Sure enough, I'd find expensive tools hidden away by LeroyDog after they left.
I'd dig a nice hole for a plant only to turn around and find that Leroy had shaken it to death. Or he'd replant it after I left the yard.
Goodness, I loved that dog!

Oh I have to share this one. We have a Koi Pond in the back yard that is about 6.5 feet deep in the very center and big enough to hold an open on both ends 55 gal plastic drum I secured for the fish to hide in if spooked at the deepest part. Around the top edge of the pond is several pallets of rock and flat rocks. One day LoLo decided he wanted to walk around the rocks. He was maybe 6-7 months old. Ok no big deal I thought. At that time there was a large area of water lettuce growing on top to shade the water. All was going good until I noticed LoLo stop and look down at the petty green lettuce that obviously he mistook for a layer of grass and before I could shout for him to stop he tried the “Walking On Water” trick. I had to jump in and get the poor stunned pup out of the pond. Thank goodness our pond is pretty clean. It was funny and scary both. Poor baby was so shocked. Lord I miss that pup so much. Here he is getting groomed by my wife. He would always lay his head on her shoulder.
