What have you been using? Many folks here like the Wahl Bravura. I also have an old Andis corded clippers.

I use the Wahl Km10s on my poodles body, as the bravuras I use for her feet/face won't cut through the body. We have an old Oster A5 that also works well.

Another one who uses the Oster A5 - I've had mine for years and years. Recently had it refurnished and it is like brand new now. Goes through my boy's thick hair.

Do you prefer the convenience of a cordless or the additional power of a corded clipper?

Do you prefer the convenience of a single 5 in 1 blade which may be used with guard combs or a clipper with a single length cut which may be used with guard combs?

If your poodle has that tight, thick poodle coat the corded is probably a better choice but many here do nicely with the cordless type.
