Looking for clips/cuts that are simple (perhaps shorter, though I don't mind some length) and aren't too wacky. I'm investing in a spoo in a few months and want to get an idea of what to ask a groomer. (I will have a professional cut for me for the first few times until I get the hang of doing it myself). Any feedback is appreciated!

Here's Peggy at about 9 months, in a very practical style:

Shaved face, feet, and base of tail/sanitary. I think you'd call it a kennel clip.

Here is body and legs shaved short (maybe a 7 length) and head and tail with full topknot and pompon. Ears are tassel style.

Here is a short lamb clip style (longer legs, shorter body) with short topknot and short tassel ears.

This is a full shavedown with around a 7 blade length, with a little longer left on the head.

I'll add an image of a longer lamb clip on him but I think they're all on my phone.

This is my little boy Beau sporting what my groomer calls a "modified short clip" though it was grown out in this picture. It's a clean face slightly fluffy top knot/ears, short body and tail, shaved paw pads and sanitary.
