Of course you will. I'll need help from her and from anywhere I can get it with the grooming. I know how to raise a standard puppy because I've done it but the grooming is the issue here.

Thank you. I'm so proud of him I can't contain myself. I was really proud of the other boy too but this is the one I thought was the best but he was "white" and I was a little afraid of white. I'm not anymore.

Trust me you will get tons when I get a hold of him. She'll probably take more but I'll be picking him up next Sunday so I can get some of him then. Blue boy is staying with her. He was evaluated highly but because of his jaw being as strong as it is, it was feared he might get undershot and that would be bad for me. So he's staying with her and if he doesn't go undershot she will show him.

His ears are amazing. Nice thing about him is that he's cream but very very light. Will probably end up a very nice white with little cream points.

No not directly from her. The stud dog used is out of her lines directly. Her handler's dog. The dam's lineage starts with By Request.

So - does his father name begins with prefix Donnchada's and Mom's name with By Request .... ???? I am confused ... Or those lines only his grandparents

Yes you are correct. Sire is Donnchada and mom is By Request but these dogs are owned by other people, not the Donnchada and By Request breeders. Does that make more sense?

Thanks, I'm excited to get him but at the same time a little apprehensive about the whole coat and grooming him for the show ring thing. It's so easy to groom a pet poodle because if you mess up oh well the hair grows back. With this guy I have to learn a whole new set of rules but the good news is that puppy coats are supposed to be the easiest.

Do you have anybody that will help you with advices and show you how to do those things ? I can imagine apprehension ! Especially with a breed where coat
is such important part of showing. I hope you will find a good mentor - maybe your handler friend and groomer would be glad to help you every step of the way . Do not worry that he is white - it is basically same grooming as black ! You will maybe need some different products that enhance white coat, but same amount of care goes for black ones.

You will do great - try to have fun - it is all about that after all : )). It should be fun for you and your pup : ))) ! You will make some mistakes , but that is normal and nothing is unfixable : ). If you mess-up the puppy coat - you can wait a few months and show him in adult coat : )) - no biggie But, I am sure that you will do just fine !!! : ))

Well, yeah she's going to be helping me a lot. She's not a pro handler but she's been handling two of her dogs for a while and she's a pro groomer. Like she said there's always someone that can offer advice and help if you've screwed things up. She will most likely be at every show I go to so she can help me fix anything I've ruined. One thing I told her was that grooming can be fixed but structure cannot. I don't care what color I just want the best structure. Which is why we went with this white boy.
