Chase (standard) NEEDS his walk and it's getting pretty cold. I was worried about his feet. Are they fine walking in the snow for 20/30 minutes? It's in the 20s here no wind right now....
I would also be sure to have the fur between his toes kept short as the snow will stick and build up between his toes until it forms balls that, although not harmful, will be bothersome. I've had my dogs just stop walking and start chewing the snowballs from their fur.
Thanks didn't even think about the salt. I'll have to look into the boots. (my husband would have a fit)
