Vacuuming

Does anyone else vacuum their dog to clean them? I vacuum Molly and Donner a lot because they can get really, really dirty from the desert. It helps extend the time between washings.

Nope.

In this heat moose is in the sprinklers, jumping into the hose, in the lake, or in the pool at least 2x a week lately it's been 2x a day.

He likes to chase the vacuum but the sucking on him scares him... blowing him w/shop-vac he'd probably enjoy.
No, but the dirt around here wouldn't vacuum off, it just turns him orange. If your dirt is more sandy it probably works better
And he doesn't even like the hairdryer, so I'm sure he wouldn't like the vacuum on him.
I put the vacuum in the closet and have a long hose that extends out through the crack in the door. That way they aren't dealing with the noise of the vacuum. Molly loves it. Donner tolerates it. Harley is Harley and goes with anything.
I don't vacuum but do use the force dryer to blow dust and loose prickles out of his coat between baths. This works a treat as I am then not brushing dirt and sand through his coat.
