UKC will be offering altered class

Well, I spoke too soon. Poodles aren't on the list of breeds that are allowed to be shown right now.

Coonhounds and hounds have the biggest registration numbers in UKC so I am not surprised that its only open for them right now. Next breed will mostly be APBT's

I think that's a neat idea. When you think about it, a dog's offspring says more about their breeding suitability than their own show record. So why not show their altered offspring as a testament to the parents? Also someone on another forum brought up the possibility of collecting and then neutering stud dogs, so the owner doesn't have to deal w/ the issues that come along w/ having a stud dog. I don't know how that would work, but it's an interesting thought.
