this is his DDC testing report.

There are 3 possible genotypes for the Dilute "D" locus:
1) DD - 2 copies of the normal allele (D), does not carry a hidden dilution allele- dog appears normally colored.
2) Dd - 1 copy of the Normal allele (D) and 1 copy of the dilution allele (d)- dog appears normally colored but carries the hidden dilution allele
3) dd - 2 copies of the dilution allele (d)- dog's color appears to be "diluted"
