Toy poodle weight

Hi I have a tiny toy poodle she is currently only just 1kg ( weighed by the vets yesterday) at nearly 21 weeks that is only 2.2 lbs her parents are both Normal sized toys at 3 and 4kg fully grown my puppy seems to have stopped growing no matter what I feed her she does not gain any more weight she stays at 1kg ! I’m just wondering if people think this is normal the vets have completely health Checked her and she is not underweight just super teeny tiny I will add a photo below !

She is just the cutest thing ! Although good, ethical breeders will not plan for such small dogs, you can’t control genetics 100% and it will sometimes happen from regular sized parents.

Just be very careful with her, since she’s so tiny : no jumping on or off furniture (buy special stairs for her), no overeating, ect. I think she will gain a little more, maybe half a pound, but she won’t be much bigger than 3 pounds max.

Your pup didn't stop growing just plateaued for the moment, all my toy poodle pups plateaued in weight several times before they finally stopped at 2 yrs, my Lenny, stayed st 4 pounds for ever from when I brought him home at 18 1/2 weeks until he was 27 weeks old, then he gained 6 oz, Leonard is now almost 3 yrs old and weigh 6 1/2 pounds.
Your pup is tiny, take care as Dechi says jumping and also hypoglycemia.

Thank you so much yes I’m hoping she will end up about 3-3 and half pounds ! She doesn’t jump off anything luckily as she has stairs and I feed her a very healthy balanced raw diet and 3-4 meals a day still ❤😊

Thank you hopefully by the time she is fully grown she will gain more ! X this is her in comparison to a car x

Oh she’s so cute!!! I had the same questions and thoughts about my absolutely tiny toy poodle puppy (although maybe not as tiny as yours). She is a 11.5 week old black toy poodle and weighs 760grams. Her mum and dad were a normal 3kg toy and a larger miniature dad. I was told she was a toy but I was so shocked when I saw how tiny she was when I picked her up!
