I have been taking the boys to a groomer but I want to switch to home.

I don’t like them blown out. I would like to maintain puppy cuts on them.

I would love recommendations for products. I really don’t know where to start.

If you don't know where to start I would suggest starting with doing the maintenance between grooms, (i.e eyes, sanitary, and feet) also bathing and brushing, then go from there as you build confidence. you also need to ensure you can prep the coat well (cleaned, dried and matt free).

when you say puppy cut do you mean the trim in the picture? this is more of a teddy type of trim,
maybe watch some youtube vids.

I would say this equipment would enable you to do a full groom:
  • Clippers (I would start with the andis agc 2)
  • clipper oil
  • blade wash
  • 30 blade and a set of comb attachments for body
  • 10 blade for sanitary areas and feet
  • ball tip scissors for trimming the eye are
  • Scissor set- straights, thinners and curves
  • Slicker and pin brush
  • detangling spray
  • Comb
  • Dematting tools
  • nail trimmers
  • forceps (ears)
  • ear cleaner
  • table
  • shampoo
  • I would also recommend a high velocity dryer.
