They take such good care of us
Late last night I came down with either food poisoning or a nasty flu. I won't give any more details but suffice it to say I've been in bed all day recovering and drinking electrolytes.
We're watching Pinot's mom Mira for a couple of weeks, and they've been so so good. They stay close, cuddle with me, and gently nuzzles me when it's time for me to get up and stretch.
I'm very grateful for their companionship and patience. I know Pinot would like to play but he's been very gentle with me today. I think he can tell I'm not feeling well.
My husband has also been a dream in taking care of me. With hope, it's a 24-hour bug and I'll be back on my feet tomorrow.

I'm finally back on my feet today after taking it easy on Monday and moving my classes online for the day to avoid the commute (and the chance of infecting anyone in case I'm contagious).
We thanked the "kids" for their support by giving them a bath and Pinot got a bonus FFT trim too! They were not thrilled with the surprise development but then we gave them a rare bully stick and yak milk chew so I think all is forgiven.
