He turns 5 months in a couple of weeks. Sometimes I get frustrated with his rambunctious puppy energy but I know he's just a puppy with a puppy brain lol

I don't believe you've ever mentioned his name. He's such a good looking boy!
Thank you!

His name is Leo. He's a very confident boy so I found the name to be fitting.

So cute and smart! Dante is using four communication buttons now. He is 11 months old. Enjoy the little guy! They do grow so fast and Dante seemed to mature quite a bit in just the last month. He still gets the zoomies but seems a lot calmer now in-between.
Thank you.

Would love to see photos of Dante. Silvers are so stunning and that was my first pick.

I thought about the buttons but than I figured I would get annoyed by them lol
Well Heeelloo Leo! Coincidentally, Leo is my Dad's and my brother's name

Leo and Leonardo are beautiful names. I hope it doesn't weird you out that my dog has a "human name".
Leo is adorable and smart. They really do grow up so fast.
He is definitely smart so it's very easy to see when he is choosing to misbehave and not listen lol. But he's not even 5 months so I'm keeping my expectations in check and letting him be the rowdy puppy while keeping him in check lol

This was Leo on July 14th after his 1st professional groom with his groomer. The groomer said he was very confident but jumpy(he loves people). That said..he had diarriah that day prob due to being overstimulated. His hair is already growing out so fast. I don't really like a totally clean face for him as I love his facial abstract marking so she did leave some hair on his face(it was still fairly clean). I think I perfer his facial hair a little longer but not fluffy doodle long .

Here he is after his grooming app..last week. We had him clipped down short so once snow hits the ground its easier to get off. We had his face clipped short as well but I prefer more fuzzy. We gave him a lion tail.

He realllly wanted a piece of the apple my dad was eating so his way is to lovingly stare deepening into your eyes until he gets what he wants.:sneaky:

My father is retired and really enjoying this pup. I'm trying to figure out how to add a video lol.

Also..I was a little displeased with the grooming job.Im not the type to bring it up at the app tho.
She was supposed to cut the ears short..but leave them fluffy. I wanted a well defined ear so my dog looks more masculine. I had to trim the ear myself and it's uneven..sigh.
Also..I noticed that she didn't touch up the Sani area that I had clipped the week before. There was regrowth already and she didn't clean it. I had also clipped the feet myself and they were pretty clean but like the Sani area..the in-between paw area had some hair left over as I'm not super confident doing the area. Anyway..I noticed she didn't clean it up.
I paid for a full groom and it'd expensive in Canada. I was also charged for a groom for a 45 lbs dog and up which is $ 60cad an hour but my dog is a 7 month only puppy that weighed 42 lbs at time of groom. I know it's not a major difference but he's a puppy and I'm getting charged for a full groom. I find that insulting considering I tipped very well last time($20) as I know he's just a puppy and prob moved around alot. Also.. I would imagine he moved around alot last week as well..but a Sani area with the little hair it had would be very easy to clean..as would the hair I left between the paws. Ughh..and I still tipped because I'm a sweet person and didn't notice the flaws until I came home. I basically paid for a full groom for an adult dog and it areas were left untouched. Am I being unreasonable? There aren't too many groomers where I live as I'm more rural but I can check out others. I feel they got greedy.

Unfortunately..you dont meet the groomer as there are a few groomers working there and they are busy so you relay the info to the receptionist.

Anyway..she left hair on the face which I wanted but ears weren't touched.
Leo is a gorgeous boy, I love his colouring.
Also, I don't think you are being unreasonable, its a service you pay for and youre in the right to expect to be satisfied with the results! 😊

Thank you! I love his color too and it looks darker now that he's shorter. It also looks more apricot in pics than it is in person. In person it's beige and abit of a darker beige now that he's sporting a short cut. He will probably clear to cream which is fine but not my ideal as light shows dirt the most. That said I adore the pup so it is what it is lol
