This is from a subscription I get from Whole Dog Journal. They describe what it is they like about it. (I agree with everything they say after much research) And describe it all succinctly. So it doesn't take long to go through the list.
I've been switching around between Victor and Instinct. (I think the Instinct I've used is not the one they show, but something like ultra or ultimate protein. Anyhow, one that does not have peas. If they'd show what percentage is peas I might buy one like that but since they don't say, I just steer clear and go for the foods with lots of protein from meat.
Of course, this is just one collective opinion from one source. But I do like to see protein from animal sources, not legumes, peas, pulses etc. At least not where they're relying on those things for a good deal of the protein. I like probiotics added and some of the other supplements that some of these foods have.
