Practicality is good. Oliver was four when he joined my family, so no coat change, but now he is 14 and kind of lumpy bumpy; and not only has it been too cold to bathe him for a while, but we are also going with a more minimalist approach.

A small plane flew over twice while we were playing fetch. Jasper was very curious.
I got his hair cut touched up so he looks a little better. I need to do more to his ears and @PhoebeDuck has been coaching me on using scissors on them, but I just know the Puddle King will move and lose his ear. 😂
Now that I'm over the shock of just how much I cut off him I actually like the look. Ps. The cardboard in this hair pile is a piece I gave him to shred while I clipped the dreaded legs. The hay is from the rabbits. I mention that because my DH asked if it was all tangled in his coat.

Jasper looks wonderful! Great photo too.
I love the plane pic! You can see him thinking ... "What is that? Do I need to bark at it?" 😂

The wreath blew off my door during a storm. Jasper found it before I even realized it was gone. 😂
We've had such a wet winter, there's only mud as far as the eye can see.

When the outdoorsman is forced to dress up and smile for the camera you get a face like this.
Can I please play outside? I promise I won't ruin your hard work at grooming me by playing in the mud.
Also, my floors were mopped this morning. I can't wait for a dry summer. 😭
