Gracie got groomed yesterday. The groomer asked me what I wanted and I said I wasn’t sure except I like clean face and feet. She asked me if she could do something creative and I said “sure”! It’s only hair and my grooming skills are limited to all over clip and a Miami clip, so good to let somebody who knows what they’re doing have a go at it.

So Gracie came back in a Sweetheart clip! At least I think that’s what it is after looking at Kalstone’s book. Plus, gold painted toes. I think she looks adorable, she has a beautiful coat.

The pictures are after she’s been out in the rain today, and her coat is not as blown out, but still very pretty. I need to get her a bling collar now to offset the seresto collar.

The groomer breeds and shows toy poodles, so I really lucked out finding her. She did tell me I have a very nice puppy ?

That is very cute and since she set it up for you you should be able to maintain it pretty easily. You did get lucky finding that groomer.

Oh how cute! She looks like one of those 50's 'spaghetti poodle' ceramic statues! LOL! You definitely found a 'real' poodle groomer!!!!

Oh Gracie you beautiful thing you!!! Her clip looks gorgeous! And she looks so grown up already. I really love her white blaze while shaved - it is striking. She has such a strong smart gaze, too. You lucked out with a wonderful groomer.

I really love the gold nails and she definitely needs a snazzy sparkley collar to go with!

What an adorable sweetheart clip on a sweetheart of a poodle. You're lucky to have such a great groomer.

I looked up the clip in my Kalstone book - what a fun clip.

Thanks all! I love this clip on her too!

Molly MuiMa, I have some of those vintage pieces, i think they’re very cool. And yes, she is now like the spaghetti poodles! I like the traditional poodle looks

I will eventually groom her myself sometimes, and following the lines will help. However, this groomer is incredibly affordable, so surprising to have this quality at that price...plus Gracie seems very comfortable with her. I’m looking forward to seeing what else she does with her., finding her truly was a blessing.

Ghost, she is growing up so quick, I love what she is becoming but it is bittersweet.

GloryBeeCosta, pants and shirt- I love it!

And the pedicure, oh my goodness, I think it is adorable. I don’t ask for it, she just does it. In a year or so when Gracie starts competing in agility, that will have to go (at least I think it’s against the rules in AKC). Until then, I will enjoy it.

Looked for a bling collar on Amazon, decided instead to do a more summer/ tropical theme, ordered this collar. More fitting for this girl who was swimming in the murky Mohawk River last week, and trying to eat a dead bird in the yard today. We’ll save the rhinestones for the holiday season.

Gracie will sure stand out in her agility foundations class this week, lol! But under that glitz and glamor is quite the robust little dog...or as my husband says proudly “she’s a real dog!” I love that about poodles, they can do anything!

Oh I really love that little set. That is super cute - Lilah chewed straight through her new leather tag collar ? she managed to get it from her playpen with her paw from the shelf lol. Whoops. So now time to go summer collar shopping I guess!
I think that bright happy color will look great on Gracie. I’m thinking something yellow/pink and spunky for Lilah. You’ve inspired me!

Oh no, that leather was just too tempting! There are some nice collars out there. There’s a few on Etsy I like, but I’ll save that for when she stops growing.

We’ve had a few chewing casualties too, the most recent being teeth marks on my glasses. Ugh, and my script just expired too, so I’ll make do with the spare until I can schedule an exam.

Thank you Terrin, I did luck out, with the groomer and Gracie! The great thing is that her temperament is equally as wonderful, crazy puppy antics for sure, but she is already developing into a great little dog. Just love this girl.
