What a nice looking guy! I keep my eye on Craigslist/ Kijiji for rehoming opportunities as I'd be happy to get a dog in need. But here all the small, non shedding dogs get snapped up before I even get a chance to contact the people! It's also super competitive for small rescues and shelter dogs that don't have behavioural issues, which is totally a good thing, but hard for anyone who wants to get a dog that way.

Just one thing I would say is be careful of people who list dogs on Kijiji/ Craigslist. I went to meet one poodle who needed a new home as supposedly its elderly owners couldn't keep it, and I would put money that it was straight from a puppy mill.
