I think she looks GREAT! I was just thinking of PM'ing you because I haven't seen any pictures of Suri or Olie of late. Thanks for sharing....I'm no groomer, but I think you deserve a pat on the back. Well done! Are you grooming Olie? By the way, Suri has the most beautiful eyes and face!

OK - I was honestly going to keep this a secret for a while, just because she's short........... Also I didn't have a 7f blade, so I used a comb attachment. She has some stray hairs here and there that need evened up also. No scissors used. She is getting a bath tomorrow so I can reevaluate again. Hope for any feedback - good, bad or ugly...lol.

Ah, another pretty silver 
She DOES have a pretty face! Maybe I'm just in love because she is silver and well... we all know what my favorite poodle color is now don't we LoL. She's sooooo pretty though!
Were you hoping for a really short length? I'm confused by your mention of a 7 blade which is why I ask. There's no set length on a miami it can be as long or as short as you'd like. I have't done a miami shorter than a 2comb ... ummm ever actually. I don't care for a shaved look (personal preference). Saleen is in this clip at the moment and her's was done with a 2G after I roughed her in with a 4 blade a little more than a week I think before hand. Then the 2g went over after a bath and blow out. to give me the length I wanted. Well not wanted atcually, but needed since I can't brush her out much right now

I might lower the bracelets a teeny bit but that not a rule either, I like the bell bottom shaped ones anyhow and you've got barrels which you did a good job on by the way so mine (here I am refering to the one I just did on Saleen) is a somewhat different look. The rear ones are what I noticed, and I think what caught my attention they could be angled just slightly and lower just like what you see on the continental. Gives the leg a nicer appearance IMO.
Everything about grooming is subjective though, it's what you like that matters. I would say this is a nice clip as is or adjusted slightly whicever you like.

Oh I see, well like I said the length is 100% up to you.
If you like super short than a 7 is a good choice if you like a bit of fluff then any longer blade or comb attachment is perfectly fine. I find too that you can get a different shape with a comb than you can with a blade. Not such an abrupt stop between the clippered leg and where the bracelets begin. You can blend off the leg and it helps you get a rounded shape if you so desire without a lot of fuss and less scissor work. I know there are pics of Saleen's around somewhere, I might have posted them in the grooming section??? I honestly don't remember and am to tired (read lazy) to look lol. If you happen across the thread though which would have been posted right after christmas maybe you can see what I mean by the blending/rounded look.

I agree with Wonderpup that the bracelets should be lowered and rounded off a little though. You should post pics after her bath tomorrow, I bet she'll look even better all fluffed up!
