He looks so cute! Yes the hair is annoying. I would suggest wearing a mask while clipping. Most groomers do. I haven't had an issue with my nails but I keep them very short.

Whhyyy didn't I think of that? 🤦‍♀️ My nails are short, too, but the hairs get into the bed of the nails, the sneaky things... I wonder if they make fingertip gloves? 😂 Thank you!

Weirdly I have seen fingertip gloves so I know they exist. But I'm not sure how they would impact grooming. It's weird I haven't had the nail bed issue.
