Well I just had the most frustrating groom of my (grooming) life.

I live in a very dry place that gets even more dry in the winter and creates the worst static situations, but this is the first time I've ever noticed that it affected my grooming. Usually as you clip the dog hair will fall to the ground, but yesterday as I clipped, it sucked right back into the clippers and clogged it. It was almost comical, I should have made a video. All afternoon the hair sucked back into my clippers, or back onto my girl's body, or stuck to my fingers or my body. It took me about three times longer than it usually does, and at the end I wanted to retire as a home groomer.

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm wondering if putting a humidifier in the room might help...? If I can't figure this out I may have to pay for grooming during the static months!

I use coat conditioner to control static. It is a common issue here.
