Mrs. Abbott has given me all her poodle records. I am in hog heaven! She has told me stories over the years about Ms. Putnam, Becky Mason, Helen Sokopp, and many of the dogs they all had "back in the day".
I am able to give Lynn Brucker a lot of info to fill in the blanks for some of the missing poodles on the SPD (PHR-database).
From what I've gathered so far, she had her first standard litter in 1951, and the last in 1982, (by Serena Right-Of-Way).
Anyone who is a poodle genealogy nut like me understands what a big deal this is to me.
Here is the pedigree from the bitch she kept from her first litter- the dam, Grenadin, was her first poodle.

I remember you had a Syrena dog. This might interest you, it is all hand typed.
Mrs. Abbott bred to him in what looks like her last litter.
I have the info here to fill in all the blanks in this pedigree now.

Carole, that is fantastic! Thanks for sharing. Very interesting to see these.

It's so wonderful to see folks that have been involved in the breed for so many years still active. Wendell Sammet is another that I enjoy watching at shows.
