No but I've seen that type of thing before where it appears to come from someone you know. All those bogus posts are annoying too. I wish there was a way to stop those people.

No, the spam is not from Todd. If you click on a person's name and it comes up with Todd's profile, I believe that means Todd banned the person.

All forums open to the public will have spam of some kind. The moderators do their best to get rid of it as quickly as possible.

Use the little "report post" button ..the little triangle with the red. On a board that I run, that is the fastest way to let me know that there is a spammer.

Is that the best way for us to let you know Todd or would you rather we PM you or something else?

We have a team of moderators and myself so the best way to alert us is to use "report a post".

We try to clear them up fast, and I believe normally are gone in <1hr unless they are in the middle of the night

The e-mail is normally the forum alerting you of a new post and that post is spam. Then when you visit the forum it says it's gone or I removed it.

We don't sell your e-mail or spam you

I hope I didn't imply that I thought anyone here was at fault!! If so I'm sorry. It's these people trying to sell junk and blasting us with fake posts. Thank you to the moderators for cleaning them out.

No offense taken at all

I get the e-mail that there is an answer to a post and when I open it it is usually a joke or an ad - spam. I will use report post - I didn't relaize. Also when I clicked the name of the person (ffuusky) instead of his or her profile mine came up. wierd.

I wasn't implying that todd or moderators were spamming - I realize that other people can get in and do this - I just wanted to alert everyone and find out if it was just me getting it. thanks Todd!
