Clearly Bobby is thrilled with his squeaky toy.

I had bought Theo this toy at Marshall鈥檚 and he loved it so I went to Google to buy more. Discovered the toy was cheap but shipping from China was crazy expensive. https://www.amazon.com/Multipet-Ori...multipet&qid=1623022072&s=pet-supplies&sr=1-9

I decided to buy these Chiwava ones instead and I鈥檓 so glad. Highly recommend these for dogs like Theo and Bobby who adore a good squeak. Suitable for a minipoo and spoo. They squeak easily whether pawed or chomped. I think tpoos could enjoy them too.

Both have soft rubbery feel that鈥檚 easy to squeak, but the Chiwava are made of silicon which is safer to handle than the latex of the multipet. Some people are seriously allergic to latex.

The chiwava are slightly thicker, have these little soft prickly parts to add texture The squeak Is much better although I was impressed with the multipet until I heard these.

We鈥檝e had them a month and all three have gotten a good workout from my teething puppy and still look brand new.

Every time I hear them squeak I have to giggle.

I do put them up high during business zoom meetings鈥or obvious reasons.

Can I send you the squeaky tennis ball that Zoe has been squeaking all day long?
Bobby is not allowed to have his squeaky toys all day. He is very obsessed with them so they only come out to play sometimes.馃槈 His squeaky loofah dogs are used for rewards for good walking...he gets to carry them on his walks. I just recently discovered that this is a better reward than treats for him, although we still use treats too. He also loves to play fetch with them. Ok...I鈥檓 a weird dog mom but when I put his squeaky toys away, I tell them, 鈥淕oodnight鈥 as Bobby鈥檚 cue that he is done playing with them. 馃ぃ

Ohhhhh....I will have to look into these! They look perfect for Bobby! Petco sells the loofah dog ones as does Chewy if you鈥檙e interested.

Glad I am not the only one. In this house it's

'Ball says night night Annie." As I very obviously put her favourite squeaky ball away in the top shelf of a cabinet.

Or sometimes, simply. "Ball is dead."

We have several of the 12鈥 loofah ones, they were prizes for placement ribbons in rally and obedience. One is currently in 鈥渉ospital鈥. Not Covid related, just a war related injury from a game of tug. While both dogs play with and like the loofah, Theo adores these silicone toys.

Wise to limit access on anything that is becoming an obsession. I had to limit squeaker toys with my tpoo when she was elderly. She would get so wrapped playing with them and needed a break to relax.

That photo of Bobby with it in his mouth is priceless. He looks so happy and proud, like he just retrieved a downed duck.

I鈥檓 so glad you got them. They are Theo鈥檚 favorite toy. Doesn鈥檛 that squeak make you smile? We also toss them for retrieving and when they hit the floor they bounce randomly which adds to the fun. They are so silly looking and colorful too.

I actually think he is retrieving ducks or something when he carries his squeaky toys, particularly the long ones. He has fun with them but he is serious about them too. It鈥檚 quite interesting to watch him. He has many squeaky toys but the long shaped ones are his absolute favorite. He carries them, retrieves them, plays with them. I put a couple in his walking bag and one little tiny squeak puts his attention totally on me so I use them for keeping focused and of course, he gets to carry one for parts of the walk. We brought a couple of the new ones on our walk last night. He walked amazingly well! 馃榿 And yes, they do make me smile as they have a great squeaky sound, good bounce and they are the perfect size for a Spoo mouth! 馃槈

I know this is an old thread but had to reapond to it.

Based on your recommendation, I got Lacey the blue multi pet brand toy mentioned above. I鈥檇 never seen this style toy before. I kept remembering the toy from this post over the past several months and finally got around to getting one. I had a hunch it would be a good pick for her.

It鈥檚 been 2 weeks and she still loves it! She pulled the squeaker out of the butt end within days, so I had to pull the small amount of stuffing that was contained inside. It鈥檚 a very unique textured toy and otherwise holds up well to her chewing.

She initiates playing with it on her own all the time. But it鈥檚 the first toy that we play fetch with that she is actually willing to drop and let me take so I can throw it again. It鈥檚 a winner!

Did you get one of the fabric stuffed ones? Multipet make a huge variety. I have fabric ones too but they aren鈥檛 as squeaky as the silicone or latex versions . The silicone and latex don鈥檛 have any stuffing, at least none of mine do. my dogs love both the fabric and the silicone/latex style.

No, it is the latex one that is rubbery. It does have (now had, haha) a small amount of stuffing inside. I stuck my finger up the hole after she removed the squeaker and pulled it out.

She鈥檚 never been able to get a squeaker out of any fabric toy because once she bites a hole in it, I take it away so she doesn鈥檛 possibly eat the stuffing.
This one, the squeaker is right at the end in the hole so a small rip in the latex makes it very easy access and extract.

This is the exact one I bought from amazon:

Here鈥檚 a pic from a review that shows how much stuffing they have:

Wow. I had no idea there was fluff inside. When I squeeze mine, it feels empty.

Looks like Lacey had a lot of fun with it.
