On Sunday we had the first real snow I've seen in Virginia; 8+ inches. I would have enjoyed it much more had it not caused a 77 hour power outage. The power just came back last night.:whoo:

Anyway, Sammie had a blast in the snow, and did poodle zoomies all over the yard.

Sammie was plastered with snow after his first time out, so for the next time we got a bit creative. It helped a lot!

And when he came inside he melted off in a blanket.

I'm a florida girl, if I woke up one morning to find 8 inches of snow and no power to heat water for a hot shower and my morning cup -o- pepermint tea I think I might just keel right over..... at be such a big pain in the @$$ with all my complaining and bad temper that my hubby might just kill me LoL.

Still though glad to know that Sammie enjoyed the snow! He sure looks like he's had a blast. I love the clothes!! LoL.

Great pictures. They would make great winter month calendar pictures. Looks like Sammie had a ball. I've lived where it snows quite a bit, and really do not care for the cold, but it is BEAUTIFUL to look at.

Love the pics! I always say that I want to live where it snow's. Ive lived in California all my life so I would probably go into shock if it snowed outside my home. My husbands from NY so he's used to the snow and personally loves it.

No Snow in Va Beach

I love to see pic's of spoo's playing in the snow. They are great.
We didn't even get what I would call a dusting here. Do you just have the one? He looks like he is having fun.

He's wearing child sized pantyhose. It kept a lot of the snow off.

WonderPup, not only did we have no power to heat shower water, we had NO WATER. The well pump is electric. I now know exactly how much melted snow it takes to flush the toilet.

Yes, Sammie is my only dog.
