For over a year I was using a slicker brush on Noodle and finding that after brushing she would mat up easier.
I must be doing something wrong because everyone told me I had to use a slicker brush.

For the past month I have just been using a comb, her hair is not long, and she is not matting up at all.
However, the comb out takes a while to get through all of her.

Any tips for effective slicker brush use? I'd really like to grow her out some but not if I'm stuck with a comb.

Thanks in advance.

Apply a little detangler before you brush. I'm using Cowboy Magic right now, it works well, but has an unpleasantly strong perfume.

You need to line brush, there are videos on YouTube and you need to use brushing spray, much easier that way with longer hair

I do use a spray, I'll look into line brushing, that is probably my error- thanks so much!
