Hi, I have a white 4 year old toy poodle mix that I got about 6 months ago in winter. I shaved her down shorter hair now that it is summer and she was outside in sun and I noticed her then pink skin from before all sudden got small light grey blotches all over her skin. I let her hair grow out and most is white where the spots are. Is this just sun tan and does it return pink in winter ? Thanks.

Male sure you don’t cut her hair too short to cause sunburn. Pink skin is fragile.

I’m not sure. My apricot poodle has a dark spot, very small though, but it never goes away.

Chris Christensen’s ice on ice spray says it has some sort of sunscreen in it. I wouldn’t count on it to really protect their skin from intense sun, but it might help!
