Our T dog is registered {kennel name} Toledo Steel even though he is blue LOL. I think Ash is lovely, although I'd end up calling her Asha cause it seems to roll off the tongue a little easier than Ash.

There are some fantastic registered names around, but I can't think of any this morning, not onto my second cup of coffee yet

Bet your having a fun time with her this morning. I'm only a little bit jealous!

... he's already mentioned something about me "rewarding" him. I'm to busy playing with the puppy to be interested in any of that! He's gotta wait LoL.

LMAO you crack me up, Wonder....ha men...I know what you mean,
my husband thinks I should "reward" him for changing a poopy baby
diaper, LOL!

Your new girl is very pretty, what did you name her? <3 her!

She is adorable! But....

I'm doing Weight Watchers and that first picture made me want a Whataburger!
ROFL!!! I'm sorry!! Hubby hadn't eaten all day, not even breakfast before he left so he stopped by the one right before you get to the road we live on to get himself something before he made it home.
(I need to watch my weight as well.... best of luck to you!!!)

Ok onto the names;
Bluefox, I didn;t know T was blue.... I always thought he was black.

I can't name her maggie because we have a family member named margret that we used to call maggie. She is my cousin, though we grew up more like sister and HATED eachother :)

Hubby has veto'd steele, Jeepers, maggie, silvia and a bunch of others. Took her up to the shop for a bath and they suggested oliva and something Princess Gey.... which I said no to.

Soooo I am a little funny about names, they are VERY important to me and the registered name has to mean something to me personaly as does the call name normaly. For instance Wonder means something... it's a wonder she lived her Reg. name is DelMar's Something To Rave About, which again the fact that she is with us certainly is something to rave about. Jazz as my very first poodle was given reg name is BlackTies Whole New World (plus that song is from Aladin which I suspect is where the first owner got the name Jasmine).

We've been tossing around idea ALL day for a name.

Ash/ Ashes is still in the runing though I don't know what reg. name will pop into my mind if we call her that. It seems to work ok, but I'm not sure I think it will fit her as an adult? We'll see.

My next favorite (and one we have been calling her for about an hour now) is Saleen. Thats really a nod to hubby's obsession with mustangs,(guess I should post pics of the car sometime) The saleen and Roush 'stangs are favs.
If her name ends up being Saleen she'll likely be registered as Mustang Sally
I like the name Saleen, I've never met another dog named Saleen and I like to be as origional as I can name wise. I dunno if it fits though??

I also like Delilah for some reason??? Dunno why thats stuck in my head.

Hubby had the idea to name her after another flower/herb/spice/scent that would kind of go with Jasmine since thats a perdy flower/flowering vine and a lot of things are supposed to smell like Jasmine. I suggest Lavender but that just doesn't fit her and pansy is out of the question for what I hope are obvious reasons LoL.

I dunno, Off to re-search more pet names and look in some of my favorite books to see what the heroines are named in those! Thats actualy how I've named a lot of my pets. Wonder was named after a fictional racehorse in a series of books called Thourghbred. The first book in the series is called "A horse called Wonder". The wonder in the book and the real life WonderPuppy have such similar stories, how could I resist?

Oh well now I'm rambling on... off I go :)

Im a fan of all the mustang names. We've had a Saleen and Rouch ourselves. Saleen was for our female Pit Bull girl and Rouch was our Blue Amstaff bitch. I also like Steeda...its a high preformance parts. I still love the name Saleen ....representing such a awesome car. Has your hubby mentioned Elle or maybe for Eleanor from the Shelby GT 500 in Gone in 60 seconds.

Ok now Ive gone wild on car names. Cobra and bullet sound more masculine so those probably wouldn't work for a girl. The car names are my favorite though. Good luck!

Oh gosh darn it I forgot all about Shelby.... :shot: That would have been great! Maybe I will see if Hubby wants to reconsider what we picked? We ave ourselves a deadline of 5pm today since she had a vet appt them for a checked and it would be easier if she had an offical name the first trip in so that she could be entered into the system. DANG IT!!!!!!!!!!!
