I just drove past my neighborhood's mosque as people were arriving for Friday services. My heart hurt. I was happy to see that the parking lot was as full as usual with also the usual overflow to the parking lot of the Congregationalist church across the street that allows the mosque to use their lot on Fridays and during Ramadan and other important days of observance. It would be very sad if this horror had made people feel so afraid as to stay home.
From what I know, Canine Coronovirus (CCV) is different in dogs than in people. In dogs, it's an intestinal virus and can be fatal, but I have never read where the canine variety is transmissible to humans.
