I am potty training Beau. He was using puppy pads because the breeder told me to keep him in doors until he had all his shots. So I was so afraid he would get sick. So now I am working hard to get him to go out side. He does great and only uses the puppy pads occaisionally. But it is me that is trained. I take him out about every hour to every hour and a half. Now at night he gets me up to go. So how do I get him to tell me when he needs to go. I know when he needs to go #2, that is pretty predictable. But I do want him to let me know when he has to pee. Any suggestions?
