Poodle Registry Name Help

Can we atleast see some stacked up pics of him. Seeing the dog really help for a good name. (I just really want to see him...lol)

Oh and breeder doesn't want her name on the dog? If not that's great but usually the breeder wants there name on the litter. Just double check that and put some pics up....please.

I don't have any stacked up photos of him, just casual headshots, him
laying, and sitting, I will request some though.She didn't mention anything
about her name being on the registry, I will check into that, but more than
likely I don't think she cares.

She is the breeder so her prefix has to go on it. You arent a registered breeder yet so you cant do it. She was prolly asking you what name you wanted, like my prefix is Sivaro and to add on to the name like my white girl I called her Sivaro Thats Wot Im Talkinbout. So she would have been asking what you wanted her name to be.

Where/how did you find the breeder/puppy?

I know with most major kennel clubs there is a maximum allowed amount of letters that can be used for registered names. I want to say it 25...I'll look...ah ha its 30 but that includes spaces.

I found him online awhile back, I even showed you guys pictures, but
I was scared to say anything about actually considering getting him
due to the negative feedback that his face wasn't groomed, and that
the lady bred bulldogs and some other breeds. Other than a few flaws
that can be fixed, like the shaved face, and toenails needing clipped.
I really like him and I am satisfied with this one rather than the other
ones I inquired about. Thanks for the advice on the registry name.

Please no negative comments guys, I really can't take anymore.

We don't try to be negative we have your best interest at heart. Do those things not throw up red flags for you? I think we have gone over this enough time you would understand now that getting a quality dog take a long time and a lot of money. Think of it this way there are only three ways to get something, good, fast and cheap. You want it fast and cheap then it wont be good, you want it good and fast it won't be cheap, you want it good and cheap it won't be fast. You understand?

I do understand what you are saying, and I realize you guys are have
my best interest in mind. I actually been looking for another poodle
before I joined here and Maddie was even born. Also,the dog is definately
not cheap in my book, I never plan on buying a dog this expensive again.
I was just really wanting to show in the future rather than breed.

I understand, and told her on an email. Just hoping she understands. I have even offered that if they have msn I can personally speak to them. I cant ring cause Im in Australia.

On the registered name with AKC, the breeder doesn't have to keep their name on the dog. Most breeder's do but on occasions they will let you put your kennel name even if you didn't breed it.

If she leaves her's on you can do something like this;
Example: Magestic's Red Hot Masterpeice of Burkhardt

If not then you go;
Burkhardt's Red Hot Masterpiece

(if its over 30 spaces you pay additional and the ' and spaces between words count)

Well actually they do. She isnt a registered member with a prefix. The lady should have registered the rest of the litter or are things different in the US.
Regardless she needs to be registered in order to have a prefix, you cant have two registered breeders if there was more than just this dog in the litter.

Oh yes things are different here then. lol When you say prefix are meaning the PR like purple ribbon ? That is a UKC thing meaning there is atleast a 3 generation Pedigree behind them. Not AKC though. I just did my boy Eli with AKC. He is Secreto's King of New York. His breeder didn't care for her name to be on the paperwork.

This example

Magestic's Red Hot Masterpiece of Burkhardt, is just if the breeder kept her name on and MM wanted to incorporate her name into the dog's registed name. It doesn't mean that MM bred it but that she just wanted her name on there too. Usually you discuss putting your name at the end prior.

So confusing how the US do it. Here there is only one register. We are with the ANKC, only one prefix, mine being Sivaro. Before any of my litters get sold I have to put names on them. Sivaro Jacks Brat, Sivaro Doin It N style, Sivaro That Wot Im talkin bout. As long as its up to 30 letters including spaces. But only I can do it being the breeder of these pups.

I get what you are saying. Funny the differences between the kennel clubs.
