Hello all poodle owners who have/had the mini and standard poodles.
Can someone who owned both sizes tell me which size in your opinion was easier to train?
Which size was better for children under 10 years old in your opinion?
Did you notice that the mini had less health issues then the standard?

I have had both sizes and do not see any difference in training. That said, poodles can be really, really devious when they do not want to do something!

A standard poodle is the better choice for small children, in my opinion. Once they are no long puppies, standards are less active than minis and are sturdier. And yes, minis have fewer health issues than standards, but that's probably because they are not nearly as common.
