Hi!
Vet diagnosed my cookie (7m toy poodle) with ascaris eggs (round worm) in his stool this morning.
We haven’t been on walkies for 4 days now.
And my cookie kept on whining while looking at the front door. Silly me forgot to ask vet if it’s alright to take him on walk.
Has anyone have the same thing happened with your dog ? I wonder if it’s alright to take him on walk? Or i should wait until he pooped out the worm?
thanks!
ps : this is cookie’s face begging me to take him on walkies. My heart just can’t take it..

Roundworms are extremely common in puppies - I assume he has now been given a suitable worming treatment? As lang as you are careful to pick up after him there should be no problem walking him.
yep! Doc gave half of the tablet for him. He told me to give him the another half tomorrow if he poop out the worm. If not, then it should be given next week.
i always pick his poop with a bag ☺
what I’m concerned is that he’ll put weird things in his mouth on walkies. And the deworming wont be ad effective lol does that even make sense ?lol
