Roxy is a goldendoodle with a pea-sized cyst on the underside of her tail. She does not lick it, and she does not like us to touch it. We've removed it 3x and it keeps coming back. Under the microscope it crumbles into fatty particles. What the heck is this?

Ouch, that looks like it hurts.
What did the vet say it was? I would get a second opinion from another vet if you do not agree with or the vet does not know what it is.

Agree with the others. I know in humans cysts will come back unless the cyst wall/sac is removed, usually through a minor surgical procedure. I haven't seen a cyst that looks like this, however.

Is the vet removing the cyst or just draining the contents? It seems odd the cyst would keep returning. It sounds like the cyst is causing some distress; you might want to get a second opinion from another vet.
