Time For Potty
(to the tune of Frère Jacques)

Ignore That Noise Outside, Please
(to the tune of Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes / London Bridges)

Use your nose and not your ears
Not your ears
Not your ears
Use your nose and not your ears
And that will calm your fears

Lacey really hates it when I sing to her, especially if she’s being held by me. Physically tries to escape. I just sing nonsense off the top of my head all the time and her reaction makes me laugh. Apparently my singing is obnoxious to her. The only thing I can remember singing to her that had a known tune is baby shark, but instead the rendition is “Lacey shark.”

Zephyr has not shown any signs of being a singer yet, and this song would not suit him because food is not a big motivator for him. But his big brother Zorro the Giant Schnauzer wrote this one some years ago, and it suited him to a tee. Sung to the tune of "My Way" (with apologies to Old Blue Eyes). His rhyme scheme was maybe not the equal of Frank's, but I think he did pretty well for a dog.

And now, my dinner's done
And so I face my empty food bowl,
My friend, I'll say it clear,
I'll state my case, I want to howl.
I ate the whole bowlful
I crunched up each and every kibble,
And more, much more than this, I ate it my way.

Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention.
I ate all that I could, and ate some more, without exemption.
I found each tasty treat Mom tried to keep away from me,
And more, much more than this, I ate it my way.

Yes there were times, I'm sure you knew,
When I bit off more than I could chew,
But through it all, when there was doubt,
I ate it anyway, and threw it up.
I ate it all, and I stood tall, and ate it my way.

I ate, I barked and howled,
I've had my fill, and still felt hungry,
And now, as dinner's done, I think I need a dessert bowl.
To think, I ate all that,
And may I say, not in a shy way,
Oh, no; oh no not me, I ate it my way.

For what is a dog? What has he got?
If not a steak--then he has naught
To eat but kibble, oh no, not kibble! Oh all right, kibble! I'll even eat kibble.
The record shows, I took the kibble and ate it my way!

As well as the Flappy-flappy-bang-bang drone when the window cleaner comes we have:

Out in the garden Poppy,
Sophy, Poppy,
Out in the garden, Sophy
All around the world!
to the tune of Pretty Kitty

I can tickle Sophy's nose, Sophy's toes, Sophy's nose
I can tickle Sophy's nose, Sophy's bum and tummy!

I can tickle Sophy's bum, Sophy's tum, Sophy's bum
I can tickle Sophy's tum, Sphy's nose and tummy!

In various combinations, suiting the action to the words, while she wriggles on her back and play bites and wrestles
to the tune of London Bridge is Falling Down

Was thinking about this thread today... I realized I DO sing to Annie - usually while playing ball indoors.

The wonderful thing about poodles
and poodles are wonderful things!
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs!
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun!
But the most wonderful thing about poodles is
YOU'RE my only one

The last line is very heartfelt, and in a state of mild exasperation
