Good for you he looked fantastic. Keep on keepin on AKC is where its atAs far as I can tell, dog show world is a lot like high school! Lots of cliques, lots of talking behind others backs...still, on the other hand, I did meet some nice people and was very kindly brought under the wing of our show groomer, which helped a great deal.
I got Monroe so I could improve my grooming. I was never planning a career in showing, but I seem to have been bitten by the bug, and now not only want to get better at grooming, but I want to become the best! It's an uphill battle to campaign an unknown silver, handled by an unknown owner, but, I am a determined one. Right now it's back to coat care and growth, as we were quite obviously inches behind the competition. That and Id like to teach Monroe to auto-stack and stretch, as that sure does look impressive!
Oh, and thanks y'all for the sweet compliments on Monroe. He is such a great guy and I cherish every moment with him!
