Hey!
At this point I need to have a groomer do Angus' body/face/feet etc. as my hands can't cope, but I want to maintain his head and I want to have fun ?

I'd love recommendations for quality but budget friendly (ha!) tools I'll need.

Comb(s)?
Brush?
Bands?
Spray on?

How often do you use spray? Does it require frequent washes/ blowouts?

Aiming to grow TK & ears out.

Comb(s)? A greyhound type of comb - it should cost 7 or 8 dollars and be very, very smooth.

Brush? A slicker brush and, if you want to grow hair longer than about 1/2 inch, a pin brush. I prefer Safari brushes with soft tips on the pins.

Bands? As in rubber bands for a show topknot? For poodles I like Lainee bands.

Spray on? I like Chris Christensen's Ice On Ice for a daily conditioning spray for brushing.

How often do you use spray? Does it require frequent washes/ blowouts? When Zoe was in show coat during coat change she was brushed out daily with conditioning spray. I also used a heavy conditioner after her weekly bath (more than weekly if being shown in order to get the hair spray out). Now that she is in a pet clip I don't use conditioner at all.
