Super proud of myself and my 6 month old toy mix (who we've only had for a month.) He was very nervous of the electric clippers when we got him and I was worried about being able to maintain his coat, but he did so well today. I have a lot to learn still, but successfully trimmed him down almost all over without him being scared or struggling.
Really special treats and lots of short breaks and praise, and being outside where he was more interested in sniffing the spring wind than in whatever I was doing to him...

My grooming nervous puppy is 4 years old - so good that you are getting him used to the process. My Asta is settling down some for grooming now - but it has been a long haul. I do short sessions and use lots of praise, which to Asta is better than treats.
