He's losing his hindquarters... gradually. The Gabapentin and occasional shot of Metacam are hopefully keeping him ache and pain free, but the odd time it pops out glaringly.

Already he's starting to want me to support his hindquarters on the way up the steps for the usual old morning walk. No problem... that's easy... poor guy.

But then on the way out for an eagerly anticipated 'car ride'... he scampered right up them. Hahahaha....

A couple of days ago he was coming down a slope near my patio and tripped. He did a full face and head plant into the dirt and leaves... and then a roll. Came up covered... and INDIGNANT!

Like "Who the heck tripped me?!!" "I'm gonna GET them!" lol

Prancing and twisting to find this ghost as I brushed dirt off of him. And me trying to suppress a snicker...

You make me laugh, buddy. Don't ever stop... :)

Aww what a special buddy you have. My chihuahua is almost 17 now, sometimes you think he is a spry 7 yr old other times he trips over on his own feet. Everyone in my house says of know whats wrong but he get s up and runs like nah you didn't really see that.
