well, our vacation is over and we get to pick up our little Murphy tomorrow. He was the talk of most of the vacation. the kids are so excited.

Any suggestions on the long trip home. he will be in the car for about 2 hours. I am bringing an old shirt to rub on his mother (for the scent) a toy, a couple of goodies.

the kids are going to want to put him in their laps for the ride, is that ok? we did buy a crate, should we put him in there? Im worried he wont like it and that will set us back with the crate training.

any suggestions would be great, i want to try to make this transition smooth for the little guy.:dance:

what about a pit stop for a bathroom break. I probably should avoid the 'dog area' just in case. didnt even think of that.
