This is Milo, who we rescued. I introduced myself under new members a couple of days ago.
I took him by the groomers and vets, and they all thought he looked more like a poodle/bichon...however the family we helped out swears he is a pure-bred poodle.
His tail isn't cropped....and is held like an un-cropped poodle tail...
What do you all think? Here are a few pictures.
He is 13 inches from floor to top of shoulder...and he is 13 pounds.

Oh, the last two pictures were not taken by me...they are what the family sent me...so I'm assuming in the one he was a bit younger...

I thiiiink Bichon's have smaller ears then that, though if you look at a Bichon, they hold their tails over their backs too

The real way to tell would to be to shave his face, poodles have thinner muzzles, and bichon's have shorter, broader muzzles.

I think that he is Bichon /poodle mix . If his tail is not docked , than it should be longer than what he has and the way he carries it is also not poodle -like. Either he is a mix or his linage was so long carried out without any care that he lost "true poodle" look . You can also do genetic testing to see if he is purebred - but it costs money.

He is very cute anyway :):):)
