Luna finally gave up the wings yesterday and for the first time in a very long time just looks like a white poodle, nothing else. Haha. This isn’t a real poodle style because she doesn’t have shaved feet or tailband, but I did shave her face. I guess it’s kind of a mix of a German and sporting trim.
To do this trim, I took a “1” blade and shaved off the wings, which brought the hair close to the length that the body already was. (You can still see the faint outline of the wings since the outline was shaved in very short.) I scissored a finish on her body and legs (just taking off any scraggly hairs, but not much length.) then trimmed her neck crest and topknot. It’s a nice, short, cool trim for summer.
