Just looking from some real life experience from those that have had a mini poodle before...how long do they live? and if they are health tested do they have other issues as they age? People keep warning me away from buying a mini poodle because they say that they "dont age well" and have "health issues" is this the case? A long healthy life span is very important to me, my mini aussie is 14 and is the healthiest dog i've ever seen, will easily go to 16-18yrs. I want this for my poodle too.

Our mini poodle lived to 21 and was blind from the age of 6 from PRA. She was otherwise such a healthy dog!
My next door neighbor had 2, Missy lived to 15 and Gigi is now almost 15 and still alive.
