Some pics of Bella's new cut
Haha. I'm glad it's not just in my house. Actually thinking about it I think every pack I've had they've been female ledShe looks great and it is nice to hear she is doing well. As to who rules the roost at our house all I can say is Lily is the queen and the boys are minor lords, definitely not kings, maybe not even princes.
Thank you. She didn't enjoy the grooming though but that's probably because its something new to her. It seems almost like we've always had her even though its been just shy of 6 months. Also, it makes me quite emotional now watching her play with the others as before when they played she would run and hide and refuse to come out. Its amazing how far she's come. I thought considering she's nearly 5 that she'd be stuck in her ways or that the past was too engrained for her to change like it is with some rescue dogs...sometimes it's nice to be wrongShe’s looking cute in her new grooming and it’s nice to hear she has settled nicely into her forever home.
Oh spooky! and thank you. It has taken a lot of work to get her where she is. There are times where its like 1 step forwards 2 steps back but when you sit back and look at them playing or digging up the garden  its so worth it and its amazing how by changing or helping her adjust to the small things has allowed her to grow so muchIt’s funny, I just thought about you this morning! Bella looks adorable! I’m so glad to hear she recovered from her spay so quickly, and also that she is settling so nicely into your family. Isn’t it wonderful to watch them discover new things? Sounds like you’ve put a lot of good work into her... I’m happy for you!
Aww bless. Must be difficult for another to fill the role of leader if they aren't a leader. Pebbles is a leader. Beau is a follower, he can't lead a group. Bella however can do both. Im not sure if she was alpha female where she lived previously as she came in and tried (and epically failed) at ruling the roost. Now she just follows no questions asked...I don't think she fancies being bit again in a hurryGlad she is doing so well, and she looks so cute!! Sounds like she has made a lot of progress.
When my parents' dog Gracie was alive, she was always the pack leader when all the dogs got together. Now it's just Miracle and Jasper, and I would say Miracle believes Jasper to be the lead dog.
It's good that Bella was able to settle in and respect the boundaries of the dogs around her. Miracle did not respect boundaries with Gracie (even though she growled), only Jasper. I watched her respect the boundaries of the animals she lived with in her foster placement, so it was unexpected. The only reason I can think of as to why Miracle constantly invaded Gracie's space was because she knew Gracie had cancer before we did. Jasper put Miracle in her place day 1 and she was fine with it.Aww bless. Must be difficult for another to fill the role of leader if they aren't a leader. Pebbles is a leader. Thank you! I planted all mine from seed this year for tomatos I did Alicante which are medium size with high yield, great for indoor and outdoor planting, maybe try those? I have some in the ground and they're really strong plants ? as for peppers, I've never managed to grow large-ish ones yet, got some flowers coming so maybe this year lol.Hi Engel, Been thinking of you. Bella looks wonderful and it sounds wonderful how well she has integrated into your family. I had some nice tomatoes & peppers from my little container plants, LOL. Not quite a big as I would have liked so next yer I may put a few into the ground and see how they do. Glad to hear all is going well.
