Lacey is getting spayed tomorrow. Her vet is going to do it laprascopically (sp?) so they don't have to open her up again. The vet said she should have little to no recovery time and she won't have to stay overnight. Cross your fingers for us :)

I sure hope so! Our vet is in between me and you in Bountiful. I just recently found her. She is great and the only vet in Utah that does a single port laprascopic spay :) Also, she raises spoos so she knows about their potential health problems.

I liken the sound of a lap spay. My Jetta is being spaYed right now. She developed pyometra but its being treated for about 9 daYs already so hopefully the majority of infection is gone. Her babies are 6 weeks old. They are all sold except one. I'm just waiting till they are 8 weeks.
