Ok here is Izzy, our toy poodle, in her Chinese Crested Clip

I use a #40 blade on her face and body. I shave the pattern that a chinese crested would have. she has a natural tail, and have never cut the hair on the end of it (she was matted when we got her, so all but the last 3 inches or so had to be shaved off)

I shave her legs to about where normal poms would start, but she normally does not get clean feet. I make the topknot go down the back of her neck to form a wedge at her withers.

Awwww! It is definitely a girl cut, I think, not sure if my family would let me live it down if I shaved Perry that way. But none the less, it is ADORABLE!

(Yes, I know... cresteds come in male AND female, lol)

wonderpup- it looks really dumb on standards LOL

Spencer- It is pretty girly huh? its really the only cut that looks good on her. I even took her to a poodle club fun match (I entered my standards) and people werent sure she was a poodle.

she may be a mix, we arent sure. but the hair on her tail, while it has loose curls, is satiny like a maltese. her body hair has some kink to it, but is easily blow dried straight
