Hello I am a new member. I am looking for a Standard Poodle pup - preferably a female and preferably cream,apricot, white. Hopefully not too far from NYC. Thank you.

Welcome to PF. I can give you two good suggestions on breeders in the greater NYC area. The first is my boy Javelin's breeder, Madela Poodles (Delana and Mark Severs) in Connecticut near New Haven. They mostly produce blacks and silvers, so not necessarily your first choice on color but really top notch dogs. For really lovely whites look at Scheherazade Poodles, Linda Hamilton in New Jersey.
