Hey y’all! I’m Kristin and we brought our first standard poodle home on Friday, July, 12. Her name is Whitney and she has stolen our hearts! I’ve never had a puppy that potties immediately when you take them outside.

There’s lots of information here about raising poodle puppies. They are so smart. Also information about preparing your puppy for grooming. Usually puppies have had their face shaved two or three times by the breeder before going to their forever home to get them used to shaved faces. Even if you plan to keep her face fluffy as an adult, it’s important to train her as a puppy in case later she needs a shaved face.
